1 Part-time Evening ESOL Instructor Needed
CAMBA needs an ESOL instructor to teach part-time in person at its Education Center, located at 955 Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn, N.Y. The schedule is 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The salary is $27.20 per hour for up to 15 hours per week. It is required that candidates have at least a BA/BS in education or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as an ESOL instructor; MA/MS preferred. Candidates must be familiar with internet resources of relevance to English learners and be able to integrate technology and workplace skills into classroom instruction. Applicants with experience in computer-assisted instruction, who are self-starters, and highly organized are preferred.
