We reach more than 65,000 individuals and families each year at our 90 locations, including 10,000 youth.  CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are in living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.

Full-Time Bilingual Receptionist/Student Intake Specialist

CAMBA needs a professional with front-desk work experience to receive and register daytime applicants at its Education Center, located at 955 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, N.Y. The in-person work schedule is 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. It is required that candidates have at least a High School or a High School Equivalent diploma. We need candidates who can be on time regularly, who enjoy helping people in need, who can type fast and accurately (at least 25 words per minute), who have excellent computer skills, and who are proficient at using Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Outlook, and Excel). Candidates who, in addition to English, speak another language (French, Haitian Creole, or Spanish) are highly preferred.
