CAMBA’s Human Resources (HR) Department manages all aspects of human resources and administrative functions such as onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, recruitment, interviewing, hiring new staff in accordance with all regulatory policies and requirements, and performance measurement/appraisal.  The Human Resources Department’s goals are to enhance employee morale and productivity, limit job turnover, effectively use employee skills/knowledge/abilities, provide training and development opportunities to improve those skills, and increase employees’ job satisfaction.

Position: Talent Acquisition Manager

Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition

What the Talent Acquisition Manager Does:

  • Recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates for a variety of positions throughout CAMBA
  • Works with a variety of sources both external and internal to identify candidates for open positions
  • Works with hiring managers to determine the required skills and experience for the position
  • Works with hiring managers to manage the recruitment life-cycle
  • Prepares and executes job offers and leads in compensation negotiations
  • Supervises Recruitment Coordinators, including the determination of their workload based on need among programs and/or where highest vacancy rates exist
  • Assists in guiding, training, and mentoring junior recruiters
  • Takes leading role in use of Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • In conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition, develops and facilitates training on use of ATS, interviewing skills, and other recruitment-related topics
  • Works with hiring managers on complex technical and business matters
  • Responsible for regular tracking and reporting of recruitment-related data
  • Working closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition, uses data to analyze turnover, retention, time-to-fill, and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Troubleshoot customer and direct reporting staff program problems, and make decisions in accordance with program policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Work with direct reporting staff to improve work performance through hiring manager feedback, training, and other appropriate mechanisms


Minimum Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
