The need for CAMBA’s programs has greatly intensified due to COVID-19. We will continue to drive racial equality and empower our clients to achieve a better future, but we need your help.
Please give today.
CAMBA cannot accept the racial injustices and everyday discrimination that persists across our country—it is an unacceptable stain on our society. Systemic change must be our communities’ priority and CAMBA will continue to ensure that our work and programs address inequities that hurt African Americans and all people of color. We believe all New Yorkers and all Americans must be afforded with equal rights and opportunities to live a safe, peaceful life.
Through our collective heartbreak at the senseless and tragic killing of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner and far too many others, we must renew and never let go of our commitment to equity.
How You Can Help
We’ve been asked by supporters and community partners how they can help CAMBA meet the increasing needs of our clients. If you are able to donate during this emergency, we would be deeply appreciative. The increased expense to modify services, maintain the additional cleaning and disinfecting of client spaces, and expected skyrocketing cost of providing emergency food will become critical.
We are following city, state and federal guidelines, as we are consolidate offices and manage staff/client interaction to keep everyone safe. We are, therefore, not in a position to accept in-kind donations without advance planning. When we are ready to accept in-kind donations, we will share the products needed on our website. Thank you for helping us meet this challenge.
