CAMBA is an affiliate of the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI). We provide acculturation education for refugees who come to New York to reunite with their families through the U.S. Government’s Refugee Program. Through counseling, advocacy and referrals, CAMBA provides relevant health, social, legal, education and employment-related services.
Eligible individuals will have been granted refugee status overseas by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and have been directed to CAMBA by the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
As part of our immigrant and refugee support efforts, CAMBA has been selected to provide an early employment program for highly motivated refugees and political asylees.
