Career Ready SYEP

CAMBA’s Career Ready Summer Youth Employment Program places youth who attend school at any of CAMBA’s Learning to Work programs in subsidized minimum-wage jobs, helping them gain valuable work experience and much-needed income. Youth also develop important professional skills, such as critical thinking, communication, workplace etiquette, financial responsibility, and time management.

The program places youth in government agencies, private non-profits, and for-profits in a range of positions, including camp counselors, clerical, custodial, hospital/ recreational aides, and teachers’ aides/library assistants.

The NYC Department of Youth and Community Development funds this program.

Eligibility: 14-24-year-old youth who attend any of CAMBA’s Learning to Work programs
