Healthy Families offers voluntary home visiting services to pregnant or newly parenting families. The program helps parents with the changes that come along with pregnancy and the birth of a child, providing parent education to support child development. Healthy Families also helps to identify financial or emotional stress and other family risk factors that may exist at the time of pregnancy and birth and provides referrals in the community to address concerns. Families must enroll during the prenatal stage or before their child is three months old (12 weeks). Services continue until the child is five (5) years old. CAMBA’s Healthy Families program is available to parents residing in the following zip codes: 11218, 11225, 11210, and 11238, 11233, 11226.
