CAMBA has over 20 years of experience placing thousands of New Yorkers into permanent housing. Working in partnership with the Department of Homeless Services and other leaders in government and the private sector, CAMBA has established a reputation for developing compassionate services that move homeless families and single adults, including those at risk of homelessness, to housing permanency.
In 2022, CAMBA provided safe emergency housing and life improving services to over 6,700 individuals in our single and family shelters. In addition, CAMBA’s The Gathering Place homeless drop-in center served an average of 50 clients each day.
CAMBA’s Single Adult Shelters offer meals, 24/7 security, and on-site comprehensive services including case management, housing assistance, creative arts therapy, and medical and psychiatric services.
