CAMBA’s Maternal and Infant Health (MIH) Program promotes women’s health through general women’s health education and short term case management. The program focuses on improving health equity and maternal and infant health outcomes through a home visiting program. By approaching women’s health from a life course perspective, the program’s goal is to reduce overall and pregnancy-related illnesses and deaths and to eliminate disparities through enhanced health promotion and disease prevention.
This program is funded by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene through a contract with Public Health Solutions.
