Resources for Inclusive Support and Empowerment (RISE)

This program aims to reduce transmission of HIV among men who have sex with men of color (MSMoC), including those who identify as transgender or gender nonconforming (TGNC). RISE uses a health promotion and community-building approach to provide culturally competent and inclusive prevention and support services, including targeted social media campaigns addressing relevant health topics and preventive strategies for MSMoC; peer-led support groups for specific LGBTQIA+ populations; and public events to foster social connection and reduce isolation. The program also offers client navigation to LGBTQIA+-friendly resources, including HIV prevention and legal services addressing domestic violence, housing and workplace discrimination, and tenancy issues.

Eligibility criteria:  Men who have sex with men, ages 18 and older, including those who identify as transgender or gender nonconforming
