This holiday season, more than 21,000 children will wake up in NYC homeless shelters. While losing one’s home is difficult for anyone, it is devastating for a child – who must cope with the loss of friends, familiar surroundings and prized possessions.
Please consider donating a toy, game or other popular ‘wish list’ item to the children and families at one of our five family homeless shelters with locations in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.
Or rally your friends or co-workers into a giving circle. You’ll bring holiday joy to these children, as well as brighten your own giving season.
