BIVO and other partner agencies co-hosted a fall Brownsville Safety Alliance (BSA) Week in early October, bringing much-needed resources to the community.
From stopping cycles of violence to supporting survivors, from housing help to mental health care — over 40 local organizations came together to keep our block safe in ways that matter.
In addition to Brownsville In, Violence Out (BIVO), a few of the partners that were present on Mother Gaston Blvd. during the week included: ASAP Foundation, BTTM (Brownsville Think Tank Matters), Rise Project | Center for Justice Innovation, CLEAR Program, From Punishment to Public Health (P2PH), HELP USA, Institute for Community Living (ICL), RiseBoro Community Partnership, and We Build the Block.
