CAMBA’s 2023 Black Maternal & Infant Health Summit

Many thanks to everyone who joined us on July 13th for our 2023 Black Maternal Health Summit. It was a truly inspiring day of conversations, networking, and collaborations to learn more about this troubling health crisis and how we can all work together to make change.

We are especially grateful to our speakers and presenters for sharing their expert knowledge, insights and perspectives with us, including: our Keynote Speaker, Shawnee Benton Gibson, LMSW/FDLC, Co-Founder of The ARIAH Foundation; Nneka Symister, Seleni Institute; Anne Yau, United Health Foundation; Melissa Toussaint, MPH and Selena Brazley, LMSW, both of Healthy Start Brooklyn; Dr. Christina Pardo, SUNY Downstate / Life of Hope; Beatrice Hobour and Charlisse N. Johnson, both of NYC’s Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene; and Scott Leach, NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. We are also thankful to our staff speakers including: CAMBA President & CEO Joanne M.
