CAMBA Housing Ventures is proud of our long-standing and productive relationship with the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY). The FHLBNY recently featured our annual gala, CAMBA Night Out, and our partnership in its 2022 report to members, “Proven Partnership: Today and Tomorrow.” The bank was honored at the gala for its housing and community investment efforts and was a supporter of the fundraiser as an event sponsor.
The FHLBNY, with member bank HSBC, has awarded $8,027,500 in financing to CHV through the Affordable Housing Program. This represents 897 housing units across six developments, leveraging $390,526,654 in total development costs. CHV, CAMBA, and FHLBNY proudly share a mission of helping the community through the transformative impact of affordable housing. We are grateful for our ongoing partnership since 2009 and the innovative solutions it produces for underserved New York City neighborhoods.
As a member of FHLBNY’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council (AHAC), David A. Rowe, Chief Administrative Officer of CHV, sees firsthand how impactful the bank’s Affordable Housing Program is in delivering reliable financing to nonprofit developers. Their efforts to provide liquidity in support of housing and local community development are needed now more than ever. CHV was honored to be mentioned in the 2022 member report and looks forward to many more years of partnering with purpose.
