The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program serves immigrants. Our services seek to enhance students’ listening, speaking, reading, writing and math skills. CAMBA also provides computer-assisted technology training and instruction in civics and U.S. History.
Classes are held from 9am – 12 noon, 1pm – 4pm, and 5:30 – 8:30pm (Monday through Friday) and are generally taught by full-time, professional instructors.
This program is funded by the NYS Education Department and the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development.
Eligibility: NYC residents/workers (primarily Flatbush and East Flatbush). Participants must be 16 or older, do not have a high school diploma or an equivalent from the United States, and are not currently enrolled or planning to enroll in secondary school.
